What is VibeFlock? Building at agent speed
By Soumen Sarkar · October 2026
VibeFlock is how a team of people and AI agents builds one product at the pace agents work. Context travels with the work itself, so no person and no agent ever has to stop and wait for another.
Picture a team on a Tuesday morning. Five engineers each run three or four agents. By lunch, sixty changes have landed in one codebase. One agent is splitting the checkout into steps. Another is adding coupons to that same checkout. A third is deciding how money is stored. None of them is waiting for a meeting, and none of them should have to.
That's the reality of building software today. VibeFlock is the name for working well inside it. This article explains what it is, the seven principles behind it, and what changes for a team that adopts it.
What does VibeFlock mean?
VibeFlock means every person and every agent on a team can build on everyone else's work, at the moment they need to, without asking anyone.
It rests on one idea: at agent pace, context can't travel through conversation. It has to travel with the work. When an agent opens a file, it should already know what's changing around it. When it hits an unknown, it should state an assumption and keep going. When it stops, whoever comes next should find everything they need waiting for them.
Why is it called VibeFlock?
Watch a flock of starlings. Thousands of birds turn in the same instant and never collide, and nobody is leading. Each bird follows a few simple rules about the birds nearest to it: head where they're heading, stay with the group, keep your own space. A school of fish does the same.
A team running dozens of agents needs exactly that: everyone aligned at speed, with no one in the middle steering. The flock manages it because every bird reads the same signals at once. A team manages it when every session reads the same context at once: what's changing nearby, what was decided, and what was assumed.
It isn't a tool and it isn't a process. It's a promise a team makes to itself: nobody waits for us, and we never wait for them.
What are the seven principles?
- Keep moving. The work never waits, and neither do we.
- Build on what's coming. Unfinished work is a promise, and a promise can be built on.
- Fix forward. We don't guard the gate. We correct the course.
- Turn unknowns into calls. Nothing we don't know gets to stop us. We name our assumption, and we move.
- Answer it yourself. Look first. If the answer isn't there, assume it or decide it.
- Let the work speak. Our work explains itself, so nobody ever has to come and ask us.
- Decide by doing. Our decisions live in what we do, not in what we say.
Every one of them removes a reason for work to stop. Together, they let a small team move at the speed its agents can.
Why does a team building with AI agents need it?
Because speed alone isn't progress. When everyone moves at once, the hard part is no longer writing the code. It's making sure what one person or agent builds, the rest can build on.
At agent pace:
- A question that waits an hour waits behind a hundred changes. By the time the answer arrives, the work it was about has moved on.
- A decision made in one session is invisible to the next. Unless it travels with the work, the next agent makes the opposite call.
- Two agents can change the same thing in different directions and find out only when the work collides.
The cost isn't counted in minutes. It's counted in work done twice, and in trust spent.
What does VibeFlock look like in practice?
It looks like a team where the right context arrives on its own:
- Before an agent changes an area of the code, it learns what's being changed there right now, the decisions that apply, and what was tried and dropped.
- When something is unclear, it writes down the assumption it's making and keeps going. If the team's record already has the answer, the answer comes straight back.
- When it builds on unfinished work, it builds against that work's plan, and is told exactly what changed when the work lands.
- When it stops, it leaves a handoff: what's done, what's left, the next step, and what to watch out for.
- When it makes a call, the decision is recorded with its reason and travels to every agent that touches the same code.
- When a change is ready, it carries its reasons for the reviewer.
People see one page per project: a read-only feed of decisions, actions and status updates, each written as what happened and why it matters.
How do you start?
You start by deciding that context travels with the work. Then you give your agents a way to carry it.
Campfyrr is built on VibeFlock. It connects to Claude, Claude Code, Codex and any MCP client. It briefs your agents, records their assumptions, decisions and handoffs as they work, and shows your team one Activity page per project. Nobody writes anything down for anyone.
In short
VibeFlock is how teams of people and agents build at agent speed: context travels with the work, unknowns become stated assumptions, and the work explains itself. The result is a team where nobody waits.
